The injury bug has popped up to bite Manti Te'o again.

San Diego's play-calling inside linebacker missed practice with an ankle injury from Monday night's home loss to the Steelers. His availability for the Green Bay trip is in now question.

"We're going day-to-day with everybody right now, so we've got a couple days before we play," head coach Mike McCoy told ESPN's Eric D. Williams. "We're hoping everyone can play."

McCoy and his staff have been down this road before with Te'o. He's missed nine games in three professional seasons with foot issues.

Rookie linebacker Denzel Perryman would likely fill in if Te'o misses a tenth.
