Fresh off a 21-3 victory over Missouri, the now No. 8 Florida Gators are sitting atop the SEC East Division standings.

The win against Mizzou was a complete effort on both sides of the ball. Head coach Jim McElwain's defense held the Tigers to only 257 yards of total offense. The defense also created two turnovers, and consistently harassed Missouri starting signal-caller Drew Lock.

Offensively, the unit was led by running back Kelvin Taylor. Taylor accrued 99 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries. He helped to provide balance for an offense which also received 208 passing yards from quarterback Will Grier.
