Last season, Jonas Jerebko helped catalyze Boston's unexpected drive to the postseason. The Celtics were thankful they acquired him at the trade deadline, and Jerebko delivered whenever he was on the court.
Boston re-signed Jerebko to a two-year, $10 million contract over the summer (second year non guaranteed), and the decision shouldn't surprise anybody. It's a fantastic contract for a solid player. But how will Jerebko fit on this year's team?

Jerebko can shoot threes and defend multiple positions. He knows how to attack a close-out defender, make smart plays off the bounce and can really space the court.
It's ideal to play Jerebko at the four, but the Celtics are too crowded at that spot right now. If he can competently defend opposing wings, though, Jerebko's potential impact as a backup small forward can be huge.
