On Tuesday night, San Diego Padres right fielder Matt Kemp drove in his 100th RBI on the season, marking the first time a Padres' outfielder has reached that mark since Greg Vaughn had 119 in 1998. Kemp left the game later on with soreness in his right hand.
Kemp's bat came alive in the second half of the 2015 season, which is typically the case with him, and has hit 15 home runs and 53 RBI since July 17. His 100 RBI are his most in a single season since 2011 when he had a career high of 126.
