Christian Kirk is a rare talent, a player so good, so early, he's actually exceeded the hype that came with his recruitment. Considering he was a five-star prospect and the No. 1 rated receiver in the 2015 recruiting class, that's quite the compliment.

How has Kirk been able to be so successful so early? According to ESPN, part of success must be attributed to his unique approach to the game for a player of his age.

"He is a straight professional ... he watches just as much tape as I do," Texas A&M offensive coordinator Jake Spavital said. "He'll tell me that he watched 100 clips of something every single day. Most kids don't do that, especially at the freshman level."
If Kirk continues at his torrid pace, he's likely to end up as an All-American this season. Not a Freshman All-American, but as the nation's First Team All-American at receiver. No one the Aggie's coordinator spent so much time and effort recruiting the Arizona native.
"Spav has always said that [Kirk] was his main guy in that recruiting class," starting quarterback Kyle Allen said. "He said 'I don't care if I get anyone else, if I get this kid, we'll be fine.' I think you guys can understand why now."
