The Houston Texans have added to former St. Louis Rams running back Daryl Richardson to their practice squad, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Richardson, a former seventh-round draft pick in 2012, playing in 16 games as a rookie with the Rams, running for 475 yards on 98 carries. A season later, he appeared in eight games and ran for 215 yards.
The 25-year-old was signed by the Jets in December 2014, but was released at the end of training camp.
A former Abilene Christian standout, Richardson for 2,303 career yards and 34 touchdowns with the Wildcats.
