Son Heung-min scored his first Premier League goal in a dynamic display on Sunday to give new club Tottenham a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

The South Korea forward completed a speedy counterattack in the 68th minute at White Hart Lane, compensating for another shot-shy performance from Harry Kane, who is yet to score this season and looking short of confidence.

A $28-million signing from Bayer Leverkusen in August, Son has now netted three goals in three days, having opened his account for Tottenham with a double in the Europa League on Thursday.

Sunday's strike past goalkeeper Alex McCarthy after bursting through the Palace defense secured only Tottenham's second win of the six-game-old league season.
