According to a report by Comcast Sportsnet Northwest, the Oregon Ducks will be without QB Vernon Adams Jr. against Georgia State. In his place, redshirt junior Jeff Lockie will get his first career start.
Adams, who played against Michigan State, is dealing with a broken right index finger. Lockie attempted 28 passes in 2014 and has played sparingly over the course of his career as Marcus Mariota's backup.
Lockie and the Ducks kick off against Georgia State at 11 AM. The Ducks are currently favored by 43-points.
