AMSTERDAM (AP) Ajax's perfect start to the Eredivise ended on Saturday as it drew 2-2 at struggling FC Twente, while defending champion PSV Eindhoven thrashed 10-man Cambuur Leeuwarden 6-0.
Luuk de Jong scored a first-half hat trick for PSV, giving the team a boost ahead of its Champions League meeting with Manchester United and former Eindhoven star Memphis Depay on Tuesday.
In Enschede, Twente earned only its second point after going 2-0 up and then hanging on as Ajax fought back in the second half.
Felipe Gutierrez hammered in a 20th -minute corner and Hakim Ziyech converted a 51st-minute penalty before Viktor Fischer and Nemanja Gudelj ensured Ajax also took a point.
Ajax remained top of the league, and PSV rose to second.
