JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have waived linebacker Jeremiah George, safety Craig Loston and offensive lineman Austin Pasztor.

The team also activated defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks from the physically unable to perform list and placed defensive tackle Ziggy Hood (foot) on injured reserve on Saturday.

Activating Marks gives Jacksonville two injured defensive starters on the opening-day roster. Defensive end Andre Branch also avoided injured reserve. It's unclear, though, when Marks or Branch will be able to play.

Marks hasn't practiced since having reconstructive knee surgery in January. Branch sprained the medial collateral ligament in his left knee Aug. 28 and will miss "significant time."
