As a former rugby star, Jarryd Hayne is probably no stranger to putting his head down and going through anything and anyone in his path.

Hayne flexed his muscle on a screen pass he took up the sideline that ended in a Chargers defender feeling the brunt of the blow.

In his final action of the preseason, Hayne certainly made a statement to make the 53-man roster.
