Martin Truex Jr. is using his Darlington Raceway paint scheme to help promote awareness for ovarian cancer.

The Furniture Row/Denver Mattress Chevrolet No. 78 Chevrolet SS will have a teal look on the hood, roof, quarter panels and rear bumper. Truex's steering wheel and gloves will also have teal accents, as teal is the official color of ovarian cancer awareness.

A number of Sprint Cup Series drivers will also be getting involved. Danica Patrick will have a teal-accented steering wheel. She'll also wear teal-accented race gloves. Ditto on the gloves for Dale Earnhardt Jr., Ryan Newman and Kasey Kahne.

Truex and girlfriend Sherry Pollex - who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer more than a year ago - are also helping raise money for ovarian cancer research and awareness by selling "Never Give Up" wristbands at www.martintruexjr.com.
