Calais Campbell, Patrick Peterson ranked in top 100, according to poll

The foundation for the Cardinals success in 2014 came from their defense.

It's no surprise they have two players - Calais Campbell and Patrick Peterson - ranked in the top 100, according to a poll.

A panel of 71 voters that included ESPN analysts, insiders, reporters and other experts, ranked the top 100 players in the league.

Over seven seasons in Arizona, Campbell has recorded 43.5 sacks and has become the backbone of the Cardinals defensive front. He was nominated to his first Pro Bowl last season.

Peterson has totaled 199 tackles, 15 interceptions and nine fumble recoveries over four seasons with the Cardinals. He's made the Pro Bowl in each of his first four seasons.
