New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira is still out of the lineup while he deals with a bruised right shin.
Teixeira is unable to run and isn't starting Friday night at Atlanta.
Teixeira says his shin doesn't feel better following an off-day Thursday. More tests might be needed on his injury.

Jacoby Ellsbury, who did not play on Wednesday because of a hip injury, is starting in center field and hitting leadoff.
