Olimpia 0 -- Seattle Sounders 1

Olimpia cracked open the Group of Death by securing a narrow victory over the Sounders in Tegucigalpa. The visitors kept their shape well for most of the first half despite fielding a reserve side, but they ultimately succumbed after the interval. Alberth Elis separated the sides on the hour when he prodded home from close range. Elis' second goal in as many games condemned the Sounders to defeat and moved Olimpia into second place in Group F. Seattle currently tops the three-team group with four points from three matches, while Vancouver sits bottom with one point from one game played.

Herediano 1 -- Tigres UANL 1

More from FoxSports

Tigres survived the suspect second-half dismissal of Damian Alvarez to claim a point in Costa Rica. The Copa Libertadores finalists took the lead after 14 minutes when Antonio Briseno nodded home a free kick at the back post. Briseno conceded a penalty just after the half-hour to pave the way for Jonathan Hansen to restore parity from the spot. Tigres went down to 10 men after the break after Alvarez received a red card for an incident near midfield. Herediano failed to take advantage of the extra man and eventually settled for a point. The stalemate left the two teams tied atop Group B with four points.

San Francisco 2 -- Querétaro 1

The home side produced a stunning late show to send Gallos Blancos spiraling to defeat in Panama. Queretaro showed little evidence of improvement from the surprising 0-0 draw at Verdes FC last week, but Gallos Blancos looked on course for the points nevertheless when Sinha poked home after 77 minutes. San Francisco issued its riposte through a Richard Rodriguez free kick one minute from time and then secured the points when Martin Gomez pounced on a goalkeeping error in second-half stoppage time. The victory means San Francisco can qualify for the quarterfinals at Querétaro's expense with a pair of wins over Verdes FC this fall.
