BEREA, Ohio (AP) Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is not throwing again in practice as he continues to be bothered by a sore right elbow.
Manziel did not throw a pass during the portion of Wednesday's workout open to reporters. He tossed a few passes with his left hand and only handed the ball off in other drills.
Manziel's practice was cut short Sunday because his elbow flared up and he was rested Monday. The second-year QB has been slowed by elbow soreness for at least two weeks. Coach Mike Pettine will provide an update following practice as the Browns prepare for Saturday's exhibition at Tampa Bay.
Wide receiver Terrelle Pryor returned in pads after being sidelined by a hamstring injury. The former quarterback is running out of time to make Cleveland's roster.
