Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne is visiting the New England Patriots on Sunday and will take a physical, FOX Sports 1 NFL Insider Mike Garafolo confirmed.

The news was first reported by ESPN.

Wayne, a 14-year veteran, played in 15 games last season with the Colts, hauling in 64 receptions for 779 yards and two touchdowns. Wayne is the Colts' all-time leader in games played and ranks second in franchise history in receptions (1,070), receiving yards (14,345) and touchdowns (80).

The Patriots could be looking to add some veteran leadership on offense. New England could be without Tom Brady for the first four games of the season for his alleged role in Deflategate, but the star quarterback is currently fighting that decision.
