Jimmy Butler said this summer that he hopes to improve his chemistry with Derrick Rose next season.

There were reports of friction between the two as last year drew to a close, and Butler didn't exactly deny the fact that things weren't perfect. But any perceived rift was also probably blown at least a little bit out of proportion.

Nikola Mirotic agrees with that last part, and in a recent interview with Jorge Sierra of HoopsHype, he actually laughed in response to a question about whether any real tension exists between his two teammates.

"There's been a lot of rumors about the poor relationship between Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler. What can you say about that?"

"NM: (Laughs) Actually, I'm surprised that people write about it. Their relationship is very, very good. They are the leaders of our team and get along real, real well. You can see there's very good communication between them in games and practices. There's never been any problem between them that I have seen."
