Larry Fitzgerald's career as a Pittsburgh Panther was nothing short of great.

In just 26 games over two seasons, Fitzgerald recorded 2,677 receiving yards and 34 touchdowns (a school record), 22 of which came during his sophomore campaign.

He was the first player in school history to finish with back-to-back 1,000+ yard seasons and Fitzgerald still holds an NCAA record with a touchdown catch in 18 straight games.

It's no coincidence that he was named to the Football Writers Association of America's 75th anniversary team.

Also nominated to the first team offense was Roger Staubach (QB), Herschel Walker (RB), Archie Griffin (RB), Jerry Rice (WR) and Keith Jackson (TE).
