For the fourth time in his UFC career, Michael Bisping will travel to the land down under as he is expected to face Robert Whittaker in a middleweight bout at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia.

Sources close to the bout confirmed the news to FOX Sports on Wednesday following an initial report from ESPN.

Bisping has won back-to-back fights in recent months with victories over C.B. Dollaway and Thales Leites as he climbs back up the middleweight rankings.

The outspoken British fighter was bouncing back and forth between wins and losses for eight consecutive fights before steadying the ship and winning his last two in a row.

Facing Bisping in Australia will be New Zealander Robert Whittaker, who has found new life since moving up to 185 pounds.

A former "Ultimate Fighter" winner, Whittaker experienced a lot of uncertainty while competing as a welterweight, but since his move to middleweight he's gone 2-0 with two knockouts.

Whittaker will get his first crack at the top 10 when he faces Bisping in Australia.

Bisping vs. Whittaker hasn't been officially announced by the UFC, but the bout is expected to join a growing card headed for Etihad Stadium in Melbourne headlined by welterweight champion Robbie Lawler putting his belt on the line against Carlos Condit.
