The very best coaches in the NBA are willing to go outside the league for ideas, advice and a little bit of coaching conversation. San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has praised the New England Patriots in the past. Last season, Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr visited Seattle Seahawks practice and met with coach Pete Carroll. And on Tuesday, Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder took a page out of Kerr's book and made his own trip up to the Pacific Northwest.

Snyder was born in nearby Mercer Island, Washington, which is part of the Seattle metropolitan area. And you can tell by the look on his face that he's absolutely thrilled to be back home.

Oh, that Quin Snyder. He's always all business.
