Good thing there's no crying in baseball or Atlanta Braves right-hander Shelby Miller might be shedding tears after each start.

Miller had a no-hitter through seven innings in Saturday's outing 2-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks, but he was forced to settle for a no-decision.

That extended Miller's winless drought to a staggering 16 starts despite permitting one run on two hits and striking out 10.

The latest gem continued a maddening stretch for Miller, who is 0-8 during the slide despite a 3.03 ERA in that span. The results are even harder to digest at home. In his last nine starts at Turner Field, Miller owns a 2.29 ERA and an 0-4 mark.

The Braves have offered little support for Miller, failing to score more than three runs in 11 consecutive starts supplying one run or less in 12 of his last 16 turns.

Miller's last win came on May 16 at Miami - a complete-game two-hit shutout. Coincidentally, his last home victory also came via a shutout - he blanked the Philadelphia Phillies on three hits on May 5.
