For the second time in less than a month, a gift from a fan has stirred the emotions and invoked the sincere gratitude of Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Earnhardt, who last month at Indianapolis Motor Speedway tweeted that he was "completely floored" by a one-of-a-kind gift a fan bought for him off eBay, used Twitter again this past weekend to reveal another supporter's act of kindness -- this one coming just before Sunday's race at Michigan International Speedway.

Much like last time, the gift struck a chord with the third-generation driver because it serves as a memento to the legacy of his legendary father, Dale Earnhardt Sr., who was fatally injured in a crash on the final lap of the 2001 Daytona 500.
