On Thursday, USA Today Sports' Dan Wolken described Texas quarterback Tyrone Swoopes as 'a bit too reserved and deferential.'

But Longhorns quarterback coach Shawn Watson doesn't quite see it that way. Here's what what he had to say about his possible starting quarterback:

"I see a determined person," Watson said at the beginning of fall camp. "He's learned a lot from his experience last year. He learned some good things and he learned some bad things. I think he has a real edge to himself right now. He has something that he needs to prove."
