As captured on the premier episode of HBO's Hard Knocks, Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall and Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins don't have the strongest of relationships.
During a joint practice between the two teams, Hall touched Hopkins which prompted Hopkins to fire back at Hall with a verbal onslaught. Later in practice, Hopkins was matched up with Hall in one-on-one drills when he made a quick cut that left Hall in the dirt and being tended to by trainers.
After Hard Knocks debuted on Tuesday night, the previously described scene has drawn a ton of buzz on Twitter. Apparently, the beef is not over between the two players.
It all started when Hopkins retweeted a meme he found to be hilarious that shows Deangelo Hall falling to the ground after getting beat by Hopkins.
Hall responded by questioning Hopkins' career accolades, referencing the play in practice that got Hopkins and fans all riled up.
Hopkins ended up getting the last word in. For now at least.
