Ronda Rousey took another jab at undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather during a Reddit Ask Me Anything session earlier this week.
A fan brought up the UFC champion’s ongoing feud with Mayweather, asking if she could beat him in a “ruleless” fight.
Rousey did not back down and said, “Floyd is one of the best boxers of all time. He would definitely beat me in a boxing match. I unfortunately don’t get into ‘matches.’”
“I fight for a living. In a no-rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet,” she continued. “Boxing is a sweet science with strict rules that I respect very much and aspire every day to improve at. But you said ruleless fight, and that’s my honest answer.”
Rousey’s comment is the most recent in her ongoing feud with Mayweather, who recently responded to comments she made about him at this year’s ESPYs.
“I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” she said at the ESPYs red carpet. “I’d like to see him pretend to not know who I am now. I know for damn sure that he knew who I was, because he was running against me for Best Fighter that year and he has signed MMA fighters.”
According to Sports Illustrated, Mayweather responded by commenting how he made more money than any other athlete last year.
“I’ve yet to see any MMA fight, or any other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 seconds,” he said. “When she can do that, then call me.”
Rousey and Mayweather have been verbally sparring since he claimed in a 2014 interview not to know who she was.
