LYON, France --

Ending weeks of speculation about his possible move to the Premier League, Alexandre Lacazette has signed a new deal with Lyon until 2019.

Lacazette, the league's top scorer last season with 27 goals, was reportedly courted by Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool after a brilliant season in which he also earned the player of the year award.

Lacazette signed a one-year extension. He said ''people can stop talking. Now I hope they will speak of me because I'm scoring and Lyon is winning.''

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas said in June that Lacazette would get a salary of more than 4 million euros ($4.5 million) per year if he decided to stay.

Lyon finished runner-up behind Paris Saint-Germain last season and qualified for the Champions League. The club will also move into a new stadium later this season.
