PHOENIX -- The Diamondbacks have recalled right-handed pitcher Allen Webster from Triple-A Reno and optioned right-handed pitcher Zack Godley to Double-A Mobile.

Webster, who last pitched on Saturday, can help provide innings in the bullpen after Patrick Corbin lasted just 1-1/3 innings in Tuesday night's start. He has a 3-5 record and 8.95 ERA in Reno and also made four starts at the major-league level in June, going 1-1 with a 7.11 ERA.

Godley was 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA in his three starts for the D-backs this season and pitched six scoreless innings against Washington on Monday night. He was recalled to fill a spot in the rotation when Chase Anderson went on the disabled list with triceps inflammation. Anderson pitched four scoreless innings in his first rehab appearance on Sunday and could be ready to rejoin the rotation on Saturday.
