Jarrett Boykin is in his first training camp with the Carolina Panthers, after playing his first three seasons with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Fortunately for Panthers fans, Boykin had some big words when it came to quarterback Cam Newton.
When comparing Rodgers and Newton, Boykin gave rave reviews to both sides. According to David Newton of ESPN though, Boykin believes that Newton has all the skills to be one of the best in the business.
"They both have great, tremendous arms,'' Boykin told ESPN Sunday after Carolina's first practice in pads. "Cam has the ability to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league."

"He brings that mentality every day and gases everybody up. You can tell he wants to be the best. He has all the potential in the world to be the best.''
Well, after playing three seasons with a quarterback who many believe to be the best in the business, this is some high praise from Boykin. Newton has some untapped potential, and Boykin is obviously well aware that it's right on the fringe of being released.
