Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs caused a little bit of a stir when he showed up to the team's mandatory minicamp last month packing on a few extra pounds.

While Suggs isn't at his playing weight just yet, he showed up to training camp looking much trimmer and was able to pass his conditioning test handily on the first try.

"We shed some -- a lot," Suggs said when asked about his weight loss, per the team's official website. "Not quite at the weight, but we're at good fighting weight. We're here for camp and we're going to use this time to shed some more."

When asked if he aced his conditioning test, Suggs answered coyly. "I'm not going to say that because I don't want them to make it harder," he said. "I passed convincingly."

Suggs has showed up to camp slightly overweight before, but this isn't his first rodeo. The 32-year-old veteran knows how get his body into peak shape by now and he'll look for another double-digit sack season alongside fellow pass-rushing ace Elvis Dumervil.
