Chavez's name has surfaced in trade rumors and speculation over the past few weeks, though it's unclear if the A's plan to trade him to a contender. In 2015, Chavez is 5-10 with a respectable 3.53 ERA, and all-time he's 22-33 with a 4.43 in his eight-year MLB career.
