The Victor Cruz hype train is starting to pick up steam. Two days ago, New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara claimed that Cruz looked faster now than before the injury. On Wednesday, Giants co-owner John Mara spoke glowingly about his expectations for Cruz in 2015.

"We really haven't seen him in pads yet, but running around the field in shorts, he looks like he hasn't lost a step, but we're not going to know that until we get into games," Mara told Steve Serby when asked about Cruz's health, per The New York Post. "But I'm very optimistic about him. I think he is too."

Throughout the remainder of the interview, Mara mentioned Cruz's name two more times when referencing the offense's ability to take a step forward and when talking about the potential of having both Cruz and Odell Beckham Jr. on the field at the same time.

With the additions of Cruz and Shane Vereen, plus a hopefully fully healthy season from Beckham, the Giants' offense has his expectations heading into 2015.
