This is just the way things are going for the Boston Red Sox recently.

With the Chicago White Sox leading 7-2 in the seventh inning Tuesday night, Geovany Soto launched this solo blast over the Green Monster.

Of course, to add insult to injury, it landed squarely on a soon-to-be-sad individual's windshield:

The White Sox ended up winning the game 9-4 as the Red Sox slip to 44-57 on the season.
