The Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday reinstated Wily Peralta from the 15-day disabled list and optioned reliever David Goforth to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Peralta will start Tuesday night for the Brewers in San Francisco. It is his first appearance since May 22, when a strained left oblique forced him to leave after four innings of an 11-0 win at Atlanta.

In nine starts for Milwaukee this season, Peralta is 1-5 with a 4.00 ERA and 1.426 WHIP.

Goforth has pitched in six games for the Brewers this season, allowing two runs in 4 1/3 innings. He last pitched on Sunday, giving up one hit and striking out two in a scoreless inning against Arizona. In 31 games for Colorado Springs, Goforth has a 2.37 ERA and 1.211 WHIP.
