PHOENIX -- The Diamondbacks reinstated catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia from the 15-day disabled list and optioned relief pitcher Dominic Leone to Double-A Mobile.

Saltalamacchia had been sidelined with a strained neck. He is 13 for 61 with one home run in 20 games for the Diamondbacks, who signed him on May 7 as a minor-league free agent.
