NY Red Bulls top Benfica with curling strike from Grella in ICC matchup

HARRISON, N.J. -- Mike Grella broke a tie in the 56th minute with a curling shot just from just outside the box in the New York Red Bulls' 2-1 victory over Portuguese club Benfica on Sunday night.

Pizzi scored for Benfica in the seventh minute in the International Champions Cup game, and Bradley Wright-Phillips tied in in the 33rd.

The Red Bulls finished ICC play 3-0-1. They beat English club Chelsea 4-2 on Wednesday night.
