NASCAR promotes Jill Gregory to head of marketing as Kim Brink leaves company for job at Ford

Kim Brink is leaving her marketing role at NASCAR to become chief operating officer of Global Team Ford, the WPP-owned group of agencies dedicated to Ford.

Brink led all NASCAR marketing initiatives since 2011 and launched NASCAR's current Hispanic outreach efforts, along with the development of the youth marketing platform, Acceleration Nation.

NASCAR will replace Brink internally with senior vice president Jill Gregory, who will add leadership of NASCAR marketing to her responsibilities.

Gregory will still oversee the Industry Services department, which handles driver, team, event and marketing services and industry operations.

Gregory will report to Chief Marketing Officer Steve Phelps on marketing and will continue to report to Chief Racing Development Officer Steve O'Donnell on industry services.
