Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Nationals have placed right-hander Stephen Strasburg on the 15-day disabled list with neck tightness.

Strasburg was removed from Friday's start against the Cincinnati Reds in the second inning. He is 3-5 with a 6.55 ERA in 10 outings this season.

The Nationals filled the roster spot by recalling pitcher Taylor Hill from Triple-A Syracuse. He was 3-2 with a 4.35 ERA in nine starts for the Chiefs.

The 26-year-old right-hander reached the majors for the first time with the Nationals in 2014, making one start and two relief appearances.
