Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Columbus Blue Jackets signed defenseman Cody Goloubef to a two-year extension through the 2016-17 season, the team announced Thursday.
Goloubef, who had been scheduled to be a restricted free agent this coming offseason, appeared in a career-high 36 games in 2014-15 and recorded nine assists along with a plus-12 rating that tied for second among Columbus players.
A second-round pick of the Blue Jackets in the 2008 NHL Draft, Goloubef has posted one goal, nine assists and a plus-10 rating over 53 career games with Columbus.
