Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Marlins placed first baseman Mike Morse on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with a sprained right ring finger.

The move is retroactive to May 24 for Morse, who is hitting just .211 with two homers and 10 RBI in 37 games this season.

The Marlins recalled pitcher Jose Urena from Triple-A New Orleans to fill the roster spot, and the right-hander will start Tuesday's game in Pittsburgh.

In a pair of relief appearances earlier this season with the Marlins, Urena allowed three runs on four hits over three innings.
