(SportsNetwork.com) - European Solheim Cup captain Carin Koch announced on Tuesday that she has added Sophie Gustafson and Maria McBride as Vice Captains.

Gustafson and McBride join Annika Sorenstam for an all-Swedish group of captains. The trio of Vice Captains combined to play on 21 Solheim Cup teams and have collectively won 122 tournament titles worldwide.

"I am extremely proud to have assembled one of the most experienced and accomplished back room teams imaginable," Koch stated. "With my back room team complete and less than five months to go until the 14th staging of the event in Germany, we will now step up preparations to secure a win at Golf Club St. Leon-Rot."

Gustafson played in eight Solheim Cups and earned 16 points, including four at the 2011 matches.

"It's a great honor to be named Vice Captain," said Gustafson. "The Solheim Cup to me is pure passion. You play with guts for glory and one way or another I was always going to be in St. Leon-Rot in September."

McBride played in five Cups and won 5 1/2 points.

"I am very honored and proud to be named a Vice Captain for the 2015 Solheim Cup team," McBride stated. "I am very excited about the job and can't wait for September to come. I hope that I can bring experience, guidance, friendship and laughter."
