Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence will make his season debut Saturday after being activated from the 15- day disabled list.

Pence, sidelined since the early portion of spring training by a fractured left forearm, will bat sixth and play right field in Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Reds.

The 2014 All-Star sustained the injury when he was hit by a pitch by the Chicago Cubs' Corey Black in a Cactus League game on March 5. Pence completed a five-game rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday, going 5- for-17 with two homers and six runs scored.

Pence hit .277 with 20 homers and 74 RBI while playing in all 162 regular- season games for the Giants last year, and then hit a scorching .444 (12- for-27) in the franchise's seven-game World Series triumph over the Royals.

Catcher Hector Sanchez was optioned to Sacramento to make room for Pence on the active roster.
