Marseille, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Romain Alessandrini scored three minutes from time to lift Marseille to a 2-1 victory over Monaco on Sunday at the Stade Velodrome.

The visitors had the upper hand early and struck for the opening salvo in the first minute of play through a goal from Joao Moutinho.
Monaco held the lead until the 79th minute when Andre Ayew hit for an equalizer before Alessandrini buried the winner to hand an important three points to Marseille.

Loic Perrin opened the scoring after 25 minutes and Jeremy Clement doubled the lead five minutes before the break to stake Les Verts to a 2-0 halftime lead.
In the second half St Etienne continued to roll as Jeremy Clement struck just past the hour mark, Max-Alain Gradal netted six minutes before the break and Kevin Monnet-Paquet completed the rout with a goal two minutes from time.
Anthony Mounier's 90th-minute strike held up as the winner, giving Montpellier all three points with a 1-0 win over 10-man Lens.
