St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The St. Louis Rams traded running back Zac Stacy to the New York Jets on Saturday in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick.

Stacy had requested a trade after the Rams drafted Georgia running back Todd Gurley No. 10 overall on Thursday. Stacy tweeted "Yikes" after St. Louis made the selection before deleting it.

The 24-year-old rushed 76 times for 293 yards and a touchdown in 13 games last season, making five starts. As a rookie in 2013, the Vanderbilt product compiled 973 rushing yards and eight total touchdowns, including one receiving, in 14 games.

St. Louis used the acquired draft pick to select Baylor linebacker Bryce Hager 224th overall.
