Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Predators captain Shea Weber will sit out the remainder of Nashville's first-round playoff series with the Chicago Blackhawks, the team announced Friday.
Weber had already missed three games with a lower-body injury that he suffered in Game 2.
There were reports the star defenseman suffered an ACL injury, but the team debunked those claims.
The Predators staved off elimination with a 5-2 win in Thursday's Game 5.
