Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - The Baltimore Orioles placed left-handed pitcher Wesley Wright on the 15-day disabled list Saturday due to a left trapezius strain.
The 30-year-old Wright has compiled a 5.40 ERA over two appearances this season. Signed as a free agent this past offseason, he has gone 10-18 with a 4.18 ERA over 362 career games.
The Orioles recalled right-handed pitcher Eddie Gamboa from Triple-A Norfolk to fill the roster spot.
