Daniel Gimeno-Traver of Spain reached his first ATP tour final with a 6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-4 win over third-seeded Jiri Vesely in the semifinals of the Grand Prix Hassan II on Saturday.

The 29-year-old Gimeno-Traver served well and did not face a single break point to overcome his Czech opponent in a tight match that lasted nearly 2 1/2 hour.

Gimeno-Traver converted two of his five break points and will face either second-seeded Martin Klizan or Damir Dzumhur in the final of the clay-court tournament.
