New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Andrea Bargnani had 25 points and eight rebounds as the New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 101-91 on Sunday night.

Shane Larkin posted 15 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists and Lance Thomas added 14 points and nine boards for the Knicks, who snapped a nine-game losing streak.

Ish Smith supplied 17 points and seven assists to lead Philadelphia, which has dropped six straight.

The Sixers trailed 83-74 with just under nine minutes left before ripping off 11 straight points to go in front. Hollis Thompson's layup and 3-pointer jump-started the surge, which was capped on Smith's floater for an 85-83 Philly edge midway through the fourth.

New York held a 91-89 cushion with 2:33 left before pulling away with eight straight points. A Thomas jumper with under a minute to go finished off the spurt and staked the hosts to a 99-89 lead.

The Knicks led 26-20 following a quarter of play, but the Sixers outscored them 31-28 in the second and pulled within 54-51 at the break. New York extended its advantage to 79-71 heading into the fourth.
