Shanghai, China (SportsNetwork.com) - Russian teenager Elizaveta Tuktamysheva won women's gold at the world figure skating championships on Saturday.

Tuktamysheva earned 132.74 points in the free skate and 210.36 in total to lock up first place.

Satoko Miyahara of Japan placed second with a total score of 193.60, while Russian Elena Radionova took bronze with a total score of 191.47. Americans Gracie Gold, Ashley Wagner and Polina Edmunds finished fourth, fifth and eighth.

Tuktamysheva had a big lead heading into Saturday's free skate after landing a triple axel in the short program on Thursday. She won eight international events this season, including the Grand Prix Finals, European Championships and now the world championships.
