New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The NBA fined Dallas Mavericks center Amar'e Stoudemire $15,000 on Saturday for verbally abusing an official and not leaving the court in a timely manner after he was ejected from Friday night's game against Memphis.

The incident occurred with 5:25 left in the third quarter after Stoudemire was called for an offensive foul while setting a pick. Official Scott Foster gave him back-to-back technical fouls for arguing the call and Stoudemire had to be restrained by teammates before leaving the court.

Dallas lost the game 112-101.
